My daughter read this and loved it she’s Age 10 And it was perfect for her , she has now asked for more totally twins books - she highly recommends it.
In the second diary Portia dreams of becoming the next top model, so she joins the Heavenly Models Agency and spends hours trying on new, stylish clothes for endless photo shootings. The fashion world is more like a nightmare for Persephone. It’s getting even worse when Portia loses interest in her friends and misses Caitlin’s birthday party. When she is asked to star in a new television eco-ad with Taylor North (the heroine of the twins’ favorite TV show, River’s Town), Portia gets really excited. But after she meets the rude Taylor and faces some unpleasant situations, she finally realizes that it’s much better hanging out with your friends than being part of the stressful fashion industry.
I fun read for your middle-school reader. The twins are identical, but very different in every other way. These books are written in diary format from an 11-year old perspective of life. My daughter thought the books were very funny and enjoyed reading each one of them. She said she liked both of the twins in different ways and wishes there were other books about them. We recommend these for your middle schoolers. *We received a copy of these books in exchange for our hones review*
A hilarious diary of a twin. I really liked the illustrations by Serena Geddes. A fantastic book for all ages and abilities although i did have to ask my teenage daughter what some of the abbreviations were. Shes now in her bedroom reading it and, i keep hearing her laugh.
I quite like this series of books. As a parent, it's the kind of book I would be happy to let my 8 year old read as it teaches the reader about respect and kindness and how your actions can affect others. A bit too young for me, but I will definitely be passing onto my daughter for he to read.
