Presidents, premieres, prime ministers, entire governments disappeared instantly, like a fragile house of cards in a hurricane. Some hid deep underground or holed up in fortified strongholds, but most were swallowed up by the dead, never to be heard from again. Created in a biosafety level 4 lab in Wuhan, China, a bioweapon meant to sicken and quickly kill an enemy population—leaving intact infrastructure, resources, and vast swaths of fertile farmland—instead causes the infected to die and return as mindless, flesh-eating zombies. When the bioweapon escapes the BSL-4 lab and all efforts to contain its rapid spread within Hubei province fail, the Chinese Communist Party leadership dispatch agents to the United States with one mission: to level the playing field by seeding an unsuspecting American population with what will eventually be known worldwide as the Omega virus. As the zombie scourge spreads like wildfire, the People’s Liberation Army takes advantage, landing sizeable ground forces on America’s shores. Now, nearly a year later, having lost many loved ones and brothers in arms to Omega, Captain Cade Grayson—father, patriot, Delta Force commander—has one goal in life: to push the communist invaders back into the sea. When the PLA’s purported Spring Offensive fails to materialize, Cade leads his Pale Riders on a mission to Idaho, where he finds clues that lead him to believe the CCP leadership has a sinister new plan in the works. A plan whose game-changing main component will allow the enemy to quickly finish the job Omega started.
To confirm the validity of the evidence, Cade needs to interrogate a recently apprehended high-value target. With the clock ticking and time of the essence, he makes an overture to an old friend. Will his request be heard in time to mount an adequate response to the perceived threat?Will the walls hold against the multitude of walking dead drawn to the hustle and bustle of New District, Colorado?In the end, will Cade finally be granted the closure necessary to extinguish the fury threatening to burn a hole in his heart?Or will the infamous Mr. Murphy throw a monkey wrench into the operation and succeed in ruining everything they’ve worked so hard to create?Come along and find out who has what it takes to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse.

Best so far.
Love Mr Cheese d's Zombie Apocalypse series. If you haven't been reading his books since the beginning with Trudge I envy you because these are some of the best written books I've ever read. The story development is wonderful. The people are solid . there is great disruption so you can visualize and almost feel and smell what is going on. The battle scenes are so well written you can feel like you there in the thick of it with these tough men and now they have a new member who is probably based on A famous Samoan. Anyway. Again there was more deaths to be marked. But hopefully there is more to come and this is not the end of the story. Maybe Care could be happy with someone else if his life could slow down for a minute.

Absolutely amazing!!!
I have loved these books since I first found the zompoc genre. This is non stop action and suspense! I cried, got angry and shed happy tears all throughout reading this latest book. Seeing how much the characters have grown and adapted from the first book is an amazing experience. Shawn Chesser has done it again!!! Cannot wait for the next one.

The Awesomeness Continues
This is my favorite series of all in this genre and each book is full of action and never a filler. Cade continues to work to bring down the Chinese who brought the Omega virus to the US. There are more deaths which fuel his rage to find the ones responsible and make the area a safe place to live. Raven is becoming an operator all on her own and has some wild adventures. She is definitely her father's daughter. The pace is nonstop action and impossible to put down. This was a great addition to the series and I can hardly wait for the next book. Hats off to Shawn Chester for an excellent series that continues to be riveting 15 books later!

Shawn Chesser has out done himself again with this character driven, emotionally charged addition to his STZA series. Cade and his daughter Raven are both in separate battles to survive against the dead and the ChiCom invaders who have come up with another devastating way to spread the Omega virus. This book is an edge of your seat ride with many unfortunate losses. This book and series is a must read for fans of the zombie/horror genre.

And The Suspense Rolls On
In his usual fashion Mr. Chesser keeps you on the edge of your seat. This series is a non stop roller coaster ride. I highly recommend these books they do not disappoint. While reading these books I feel like I’m right there looking over the characters shoulder. The only downside for me is now I have to wait for the next one. Great job as usual Shawn.

Epic. needs to be made a movie
Shawn Cheddar makes you love the characters as family. You are drawn in and think about them while tending to day to day life. Ladies want to mother Raven and we all want a Cade in our life. This is the best one in the series. It could stand alone and you would get the background,but read them all.Fantastic series! Need the next one Shawn!

STZA Book 15
Another fantastic book by one of my favorite authors, Shawn Chesser! Even though he has been known to make me shed a tear or two. Lol. And this time it was a Pale Rider 😢. He does have the best written characters and my favorite is Raven, better known as Bird! I would give more than five stars to this series of it were possible.

Superb read
The series that just keeps on giving and gets better and better with each book. Thoroughly enjoyed this from start to finish and so hard to put down once you start reading. Fast paced and with flashes of dark humour just what a zombie apocalypse reader requires in a book. So well written and can't wait for the next instalment 👍

15 books really........
Have enjoyed each and everyone of the 15 books in the series. Will it continue I hope. Interesting subject matter and very relevant to today’s environment. Democrats. So sorry to see Lev and Jamie leave, cried buckets over this fictional couple that took my heart. A next book....... can’t wait.

Love it not just for zombie apocalypse fans.
I love this series. I already can’t wait for the next installment to be published,(Shawn get on it huh). I have reread this series several times already and will do it again when we hear about the next book. I highly recommend this series to everyone .

As every other book in the series Fury delivers. The characters keep evolving and keep you interested in what will happen to them next. Shawn Chesser has created a vivid zombie filled world that will keep you entertained throughout. If you have not read any of this series your missing a great collection in the zombie apocalypse genre.

A fitting end to the series (hard to imagine another book, but...)
Case, Raven, Duncan, Daymon and the rest of the crew reach an end to their struggles with the Chinese Communists, but still have to solve their problems with the D's. That's the only possible story left to tell (and it's a big one). Looking forward to it already. Read the book yourself and get the details.

Awesome
This is a very exciting episode to this series. There is some very serious stuff happening in this book and Cade and his men are looking to find out what's happening before it's too late. Really scary. I am so looking forward to the next one.

The best one so far!!
Shawn, you out did yourself! I love this series, it is one of the best written Zombie tales out there. Shane does an amazing job of taking the same old Zombie “fiction” and making it his own, a definite read!!

Great on a couple of levels

Outstanding
As always with a work my shawn chesser the writing was superb. Great action. Didnt stray from the main characters and pretty much started from where the last book stopped. Dsmn if I wouldn't love to see this as a netflix series

Gripping, edge of your seat read!
I can't wait for the next book in this series! Shawn Chesser never disappoints. His stories have so many things in common with what's happening in our government today, it scares me half to death.

Top author around.
A great read by it's self.However I would recommend start with book one. Shawn has the ability to write so you live in the same world as the characters. He has been in my top four authors four the last seven years. As long as he writes I will read his books.

Another Solid Installment in the Story
I enjoyed catching up with the characters again. It’s good to see some justice served. As always, good action scenes as well as interactions between the characters. I’m looking forward to the next story.

Favorite zombie series
This series is well written with great characters and a great story line. I read a lot of apocalyptic fiction and this is my favorite. Highly recommend

Another great book
I can’t believe how quick I read this book, I was gripped from the start, I did not want to put it down. I love how the characters have evolved, I feel like I know them personally. If your reading this and haven’t started at book 1 then go and get it and every one you to this. You won’t be disappointed.

Hard to stop reading too quickly.
