The cards tried to warn me – I just didn’t want to believe them I don’t want to believe that the psycho, who nearly killed us once, is now stalking me with an offer I can’t refuse. Or that starting a Private Investigation agency with my mates is a bad idea. I sure as hell don’t want to believe that my next mate is cursed and living in a haunted mansion. Yeah, I’m living with a lot of denial—and that’s not healthy for me or my mates. But that’s not stopping us from starting the Tarot Arcana PI Agency – we’re like PI’s for the other side, when the dead have nowhere else to turn. And of course, our first client is the young girl whom my next mate is suspected of murdering. He’s the one that’s cursed. About that family curse? It shrouds his aura, blocking his past life so he can’t receive the vivid recollections I’m getting—of when we met and how we instantly fell in love—until it all went horribly wrong. Still, our love has endured across millennia and countless lifetimes—it keeps bringing us back to fix this and if I can’t lift the curse, we’ll have to try it all over again in another lifetime. According to the cards, breaking that curse will cost him everything, and I’ll have to accept an offer I can’t refuse. The cards don’t always tell me what I want to hear…but they do tell me what I need to know. Case of the Covered Hermit is a Reverse-Harem Paranormal Romance featuring multiple love interests, a slow burn focusing on emotional connections with a steamy fade to black, and the reincarnation of the oldest recorded reverse harem story in human history. Oh yeah, and lots of tarot cards. This is the third book in the Tarot Arcana Mysteries series, with cliffhangers to the final two books.
I love this series. It is written in a completely new way that allows you to use your imagination to the fullest with twists and turns you don't see coming while still giving the emotional and sexy sides required of an RH. A definitive must read.

I pushed myself to finish this. The storyline is good. The relationships not so much. I don't feel like Dee has any real connection to any of the guys even tho they have a past life together. It feels stupid. Im happy ive finally finished it. But still curious how it all ends but i dont think I care enough to continue.
This is book three of the Tarot Arcana Mysteries series and sees Dee and her three soulmates, Shay, Yuri and Bo, as well as her roommate and best friend Mel, deciding to make their union official by setting up a corporation together. After the disaster of attempting to be a Private Investigator and not all of them having clean records, they decide on setting up Tarot Arcana PI (Paranormal Investigations) Agency, because basically that is Dee’s strength and is what has pulled all of them together. Their first client is a young girl Dee heard calling for help, and when she sees a paper the next day, she recognises the girl and knows that is where they have to go next. They arrange some out of the way accommodation at a supposedly haunted inn, run by a man called Austin, whose family seem to be under a curse. He lost his younger brother Cal and his parents, all in a car accident years ago and all he has left is this huge house that the family were going to start up as a business. His grandfather Bill wasted all the money his ancestors had earnt and ruined the lives of all who followed. His presence is still felt in the top floor of the inn, near Austin’s mother’s art room. They are offered a choice of rooms and to go help themselves, whilst Austin speaks with the town sheriff. Many in the town believe Austin is the killer of this young girl, as her body was found in one of the sacred places his father built on their land. It turns out that Austin is soulmate number four, but he has none of the shared memories the others did before they met, and his aura is shrouded by what she presumes is the family curse. It is blocking his ability to access the same recollections the others have and to even begin to realise any link between himself and Dee. He is the reincarnation of the first of the brothers she fell in love with, the winner of the archery challenge her father set for her hand in marriage. But their union did not end well, falling apart horribly as he tried to set matters in motion back then, against tradition and against her wishes, leaving her angry and ignoring his needs. Now they have another chance to fix what they did wrong together in that life, but it will be impossible if he can’t even remember her! The cards seem to be leading Dee to do something with the very man who tried to kill them all, whilst breaking Austin’s family curse could cost him everything. An offer is coming that she can’t refuse and they have to stop Austin being lynched by a group who want the Confederacy to rise again and need him out of the way to gain something hidden away on his lands. The spirit of Cal is a great addition to the tale and e is lingering for a specific reason, but not necessarily the one he thinks he is there for! He makes friends with Dee instantly and manages to persuade Austin of the truth of some of her powers, also helping to warn them of danger. Danger is also chasing after some of the ones they love and Dee will have to try and figure out some of her next steps without any guidance. Solving the young girls murder and setting her spirit free, leaves her vulnerable to Boomer and his bosses, whoever they are, as they are keen to exploit her talents for their own sick purposes. Austin is a very reluctant soulmate and it will take some effort before he is ready to take the next step and be joined with her, as they were in the past. Another fantastic read in this series and only two more to come, I can’t wait! I received an ARC copy of this book from BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.
Dee was given a message to go to Missouri on her way home by a ghost. She and her mates almost there when she was having a dream again of her past life, when a young girl asks for her help. They finally get to Missouri and meet up with Mel. Mel tells Dee about the man she met on the plane. When Boomer approaches, Mel wants to say hi. Dee tells her that is the man that tried to hurt her. Boomer has an offer that she refuses, but she has a feeling it will come back to haunt her. Dee and the gang decide to have lunch to see where they go from there. That is when Dee finds out who the girl is and she knows that she has to help her. The person of interest has a inn, they make plans to stay there. To see if he is involved and how to go about helping this young lady. When Dee sees Austin, she sees his aura is blocked, but she does she the soulmate link. Austin doesn't know who they are and never had any dreams about them. Dee figures it due to the curse on him, so she sets out to figure it out Dee helps Austin with a few issues at the inn that makes him a believer of what she can do. Austin decides to help them figure out what happened to the young lady but also try to figure out the curse. This leads Dee and the gang on quite the ride, their lives are again in danger. Will they be able to figure out who really killed the girl, fix the curse of Austin remembers their past life. What is does Boomer really up to in regards to Dee and how does it relate to the soul mate link. Where did her Nana go? This was really good read, everything is coming together. Can't wait for the next book to see where everything goes. Like that this is an on going series, that has a little bit for everyone. There are some steamy scenes but does not take away from the story at all.

When deciding to use her psychic powers to help the dead, Dee, her men and her best friend get involved in a murder investigation of a young girl, with her fourth soulmate as the main suspect. While looking into this murder, they also have to find a way to lift the curse that prevents the connection with her fourth soulmate and they have to deal with Boomer who keeps immerging himself into their lives.
I like the different storylines that merge in this book. This is the third book in a series, and every one of them has a storyline completely on its own that finishes when the book is finished, but in the mean time all books are connected by a bigger story. I like that because you never have to close the book in a heartwrenching cliffhanger, but you also look forward to finding out how the lives of Dee and her men unfold. There were a lot of elements I liked in this book: it had plenty of action, detective work, surprises, interesting characters, suspense, ... The only thing that prevents me from giving this book a five star rating is that the fmc keeps getting on my nerves. For some completely personal reason I can't fully connect with her, and that prevents me from fully enjoying the potential of this series. Nonetheless this is a really good book, with plenty of other interesting characters that I do feel more connected to. So I'm definitely gonna keep on reading the rest of the series.

If you have not tried these books, you don't know what you're missing! Dee has reconnected with three out of five of her mates from eons ago. I really like how once they spend time with her, memories of their first life together (about 7000 yrs ago) comes back a bit at a time and their connection strengthens. Her fourth mate, Austin, was the first love of her life in the beginning of time but something happened between them that has damaged their bond. Aside from that, his family is cursed and he is charged with the murder of a young girl. I love how Dee is getting a better handle on her powers and Nana is still there to lend a hand. She helped some spirits pass on and she is starting to trust herself a bit more each time. I was so touched by how she connected the murdered girl, Mary Lou, with Austin's brother, Cal. Both have been alone for so long. Cal since his passing numerous years ago and Mary Lou during her lifetime no one cared for her. That was one of the best parts for me. Actually, there are several "best parts" as far as I'm concerned. This series keeps getting better and better. I requested an advanced reader copy from Booksprout and am under no obligation to leave this review.
Dee and her mates are on the road again, when the discover that the man who nearly killed them is now stalking her. They are heading east, in their directions that Dee is certain she will find another of her mates, when she is contacted by the ghost of a young girl who was murdered. The Tarot Arcana PI Agency is born after Dee's best friend joins them on the road, and their first case will be to prove that Dee's mate did not murder the young girl. Unfortunately, Austin, her new mate, is cursed and it cloaks his aura, so he has no memories of their past life, and their love. To top it all off, when Dee does a reading of her cards, she will find out that if, or when she manages to break the curse, Austin will lose everything.
Sexy, unique, and beautifully well written characters who will fight to protect one of their own from a group determined to change the past. Exciting read, with some action, a mystery, suspense, and magic. I loved this book, and this series. I think this was the best one yet, and look forward to the next book in this imaginative, and compelling series. Fantastic book!

Dee and her men, along with her best friend Mel, are on the road together looking for her fourth mate when she gets a vision from a young girl who was murdered and is looking for her help. Unfortunately, Dee’s next mate, Austin Evans, is the one who is suspected of murdering the girl!
The Tarot Arcana PI Agency was created to help the dead find their justice. Their first case will be to prove that Dee's mate did not murder their new client. Even the cards give her a dire warning, though, that if she solves the case, it will cost Austin “everything”. Can Dee do it? Can she clear her mate’s name while trying to balance all the other things happening around her? Can they avoid the psycho stalker who tried to kill them and now wants to make a deal?
This is a clever story that keeps the reader busy trying to sort out everything that is going on. The characters are well-portrayed and likable. The story line keeps you busy and holds the reader’s attention all the way. Grab your copy and see if Dee can sort all of this out!
Our heroine helps the dead with the aid of her tarot cards and mates. But just because she has the skills, doesn't mean it is ever easy.
This is book three in the series. I have to admit that there is a lot going on here and I suspect I am missing some background by starting here. In spite of that, I never really felt lost and the book does a decent job of working as a standalone.
This is a paranormal, reverse harem story with a detective agency vibe added in. Let me jump right in and say that I found the setting and the characters to be fascinating and really well developed. I loved all the details that went into bringing the story to life. The story is very well written and easy to read with a complex plot that has lots of twists and turns to it. Boredom was never an issue with this story, but putting it down to get some sleep was. Overall, a fantastic read and I can't wait for the next book.
Fair warning: this book does end on a bit of a cliffhanger.
Highly recommended.

Delphine is still searching for her final two mates - but in this episode comes across ritual murder, an ancient curse - and an old enemy. Her Nan is kidnapped - she has found her fourth mate, but he is under a curse and does not remember - and it seems that Boomer, who has tried to kill her before may have a huge part to play in their lives. With Mel's help, they start the Tarot Arcana PI Agency and their first job is to free Austin from the ghosts which are haunting his home. Will they be successful? Will they find out who killed the girl - and why? Why did they try to frame Austin? Will Austin remember his past lives and his ties to the group? I cant wait to read the next book in this awesome series!

This is the third book in the Tarot Arcana Mysteries. It's a paranormal reverse harem. You really need to read this series in order so if you haven't read the first two books, I recommend you read them first if you don’t, you'll be missing a lot of important info. So far Dee has found three of her soulmate’s, Shay, Yuri, and Bo but there are still two more missing that must be found. They must be reunited in this lifetime, or their connection will be lost forever. Finding lost soulmates is a hard job but Dee has her men, best friend Mel, her Nana, and the ghost of her father. While searching for lost soulmates they end up helping people along the way. Fun, entertaining series so far, can't wait to read book four.

Third of the Tarot Arcana Mysteries, it picks up right where the second book left. So if you plan on getting started from this point - do not. The story is already to complicated to start from here. Arcenia and her three soul-mates are on their long way home, when they pick up Mel from the airport and head to a small town - a place Arcenia was told to go, as she was needed. We also meet Boomer again, and he makes her an offer, she does not want to take, but may be forced to. As usual, the book is a mix of paranormal and mundane, flashbacks to the story of the Pandavas and very modern mystery. An excellent blend to keep you reading and looking for more.... ONE COLORFUL ADVENTURE!!! Unbelievable! Mika charted a new course, gauged the compass and masters the seas with this engaging delight, blazing through melding this baby together piece by piece. Shenanigans, mayhem, chaos, wierdo's, ghost and psycho's set the pace, spinning this bad boy into a tailspin exposing unforseen impacts. Action, drama, danger and suspense rule the roost in this thrilling storyline and gripping plot that blasts this jewel to life flawlessly. Add distress, intrigue and turmoil along with a boatload of mysteries, toss in a little humor and you have one exciting adventure. Ok, maybe just my sense of humor, I am wierd like that. Jumping hoops, coping with the trials and tribulations keeping pace with sharp twists, clean turns and thin lines launching this baby forward sleek, shiny and tight. The realism and authenticity of the characters as their on point personalities blend and flow along with the colorfully detailed scenes paint one fantastic backdrop that makes the storyline pop. Awesome job Mika, thanks for sharing this little gem with us.
I'm loving this series! Dee and her men and her best friend Mel are on the road looking for her 4th Mate when she gets a vision/calling from a young girl looking for help. That leads them to a small town, and of course her new Mate. He hasn't has the dream like Yuri, Bo and Shay but that doesn't deter Dee. There is a new mystery to solve, one that will help the girl and her Mate, so the madness and mayhem continue! Just when she thinks things may going smoothly her life goes sideways when her grandmother goes missing and she realizes she just may know the identity of her 5th mate, and that terrifies her. I can't wait for the next one!!!
Book three in this paranormal mystery series. I really like the character of Del. She has grown so much since the first book. She has found three of her five mates. A mysterious vision draws in to a little town in Missouri. There is definitely some people who haven’t gotten over the north beating the south. Thankfully the sheriff and his deputy are honest men as they all try to solve the gruesome death of a little girl. Then there is Austin. Del knows what he means to the group but she will have to find a way to show him the truth. Expect a lot of ghosts and paranormal activities throughout the mystery.
ARC review I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. A well-written reverse harem book three has well-developed characters that have depth and grow with each book in series. This story has ghosts, mysteries to be solved, twists/turns, action, adventure and romance. This story ends on a cliffhanger that has books to complete the whole story. You need to read books 1 and 2 to understand everything that has happened so far and know the characters fully. This is a good series

Case of the Covered Hermit by Mika Kosey is the third book in the Tarot Arcana Mystery series. This book is about a psychic tarot reader who while searching the world for her forever mates travels around with her best friend and mates solving cases for the dead who can not get help anywhere else. This is a fun and unusual reverse harem story that involves lots of mysteries and paranormal surprises. If you enjoy a steamy romance with lots of added excitement you will love this book as much as I do. Case of the Covered Hermit is a fun and steamy paranormal romantic adventure tale.
An amazing addition to the ongoing "Tarot Arcana Mysteries" series. Excellent plotiline that flows smoothly and follows the story of the two previous books. Action, adventure, romance and plenty of chemistry kept my interest from start to finish. The book ends in a cliffhanger, so I'm anxious for the next installment!

This book is another excellent addition to the series. It is well written and the characters and story are well developed. I found it equally hard to put this down as I did with the first two books. I loved the story, all the twists and turns, I'm never quite sure what is going to happen next. The characters are great and meeting another soul mate is such fun. I love the lore and backstories worked in the story.
Five out of five stars.

This is the the 3rd book in this series. The first two should be read before starting this one. I love this ongoing series and always look forward to the next book. I have really enjoyed that the characters rely so much on their tarot cards, very interesting to learn about this.

I first have to say, I enjoyed this book so much more than the last 2. I thought the story flowed a bit better and kept my interest a bit more as well.
