From the White Cliffs of Dover to the lovely Lake District, this charming board book gives little ones a personal tour of one the world's most beloved and enchanted countries. Famous English landmarks and attractions include Stonehenge, York, Cotswolds, River Thames, the moors, double-decker buses, Land's End, teatime, Wimbledon, English gardens, the Queen's Guard, canals, and more.

I love England and miss it a lot, so this was neat as a way to say "oh, I've been there!" or "oh, I want to go there!" I don't know that this would appeal to kids, though, because there isn't really any explanation of most of the sites. It's just a series of naming things/places (with a high focus on London, but thankfully this is pretty diverse and focuses on way more than London, which not every touristy thing does). Yes, you get a good feel for vacation spots in England, but I have no idea why that would be of interest to a toddler.
Then again, I'm not a toddler. What do I know.
(If you care about such things, this is also from when QEII was still alive, so Charles isn't in here. I have no complaints about that.)
Another perfectly fine entry into the Good Night Our World series. There were many fun attractions to review and discuss from around the country. I'm not sure what might have been missed, but maybe consider weekend markets, Shakespeare's Globe, or Wembley? The book could drop one of the three royal references; I'd keep Buckingham and drop Windsor and the monarch. The book, written in 2020, therefore needs an update as of 2022.
