About the author

Victoria Perkins began writing at a young age and story-telling even younger. After graduating from Kent State University with a BA in English, Perkins held numerous jobs, including working customer service and teaching at a private school before, in December of 2012, she began to work full-time as a writer-for-hire.

She has five standalone young adult novels as well as a six-book series, Star Riders, two short story collections, a collection of plays, a book on writing, and a cookbook that she wrote with her mother and grandmother

In her work as a writer-for-hire, she has contributed to hundreds of short stories, novellas and full-length novels for clients all over the world, some of which have made various best seller lists. She makes her home in Northeastern Ohio near her family.

MY IMMORTAL, 'M CARA begins with two points of view, Tex and Zev. Both teenagers going into their senior year and both noticing the other in a way they haven't seen anyone else before them. While Tex is most certainly seventeen, Zev has a secret and a mission that he doesn't want to share with anyone except his family. He turned his back on his mission many years before because of a girl, and his family are worried he will do the same with Tex. It's nail biting, page turner that will have you rooting for the two to finally accept that they are head over heels for each other, willing to do whatever it takes to make their love work.

It's not normally the kind of book I would read, but I was hooked within the first few pages. Victoria Perkins has a way of pulling you into the story and before you know it, it's 3am and you have to take your kid to school in the morning but you are willing to put off sleep just to find out whether the ending to this story is a happy one or not. Just when you think you have it all worked out and can see what you think is the end in sight, Perkins switches gears and suddenly you're on the edge of seat desperate to know whether true love will prevail and Tex and Zev will have the life they dream of. Beautifully written, excellent story, original to the core. I loved it and so will you!

Star-Crossed love? I loved this story. An Immortal and a Human being in love is not easy. A wonderful journey and adventure! I know it is a great book because I want to know what is in store for Tex and Zev. I sincerely hope she will continue their story. A must read!
