This book was fantastic! It kept the story at a pace that kept you drawn in and included enough detail to where you can picture each scene in your mind, I love this characteristic in an authors writing. Thomas and Christine are great complex characters and you find yourself rooting for them against all odds. Wendy has a writing style that makes it hard to put the book down because you just have to find out what happens next. The storyline was original. I can't tell how many books I have started and ended half way through when I realize it is just a doctored up version of someone else's book. If you like sci-fi and romance then you will love this book. I can't wait until the book in this series comes out.

A modern day shifter love story with a side of H O T ! ! !

I loved the mates ring. This debut is amazing, you will fall in love with Thomas and Christine. The love that blooms between them is palpable. You will be able to lose yourself within these characters. If you love a good shifter romance that has those hot scenes , but not so many you start skipping ,this book is for you. I can't wait for the next in the series, the secondary characters have a bit of mystery I'm dying to explore!!!

I read this book because I know the author. I usually read Christian Fiction so this was way out of my usual reads! But that being said, this was a well written book. I loved the love story. I really had never read anything about shifters so the whole concept was new to me. I’ll be interested in reading her second book which Lucky for me I got for free on Kindle.

Pretty Good

Story has a good plot. Main characters are well developed. Would love to see some of the secondary characters have their own stories as well.

Great Read

I enjoyed the story. It is well written and the characters have great chemistry. Thomas is a great guy that really cares about others and has longed for a mate. He is very protective of her. They make for a great couple.

This was my first story by this author. Thomas is an almost 300-year-old wolf shifter who is at the end of his life. He has weeks to live and he is weakening. He meets Christine at his office's holiday party which was arranged by the office manager. She happens to be Christine's grandmother, who is more than she seems. One thing leads to another and Thomas mates Christine without her knowledge in a firestorm of passion. When Thomas realizes what happens he has to confess all to Christine who takes it better than I thought but not all that well either. Christine becomes a target and Thomas will do anything to protect his mate.

I like the characters, especially Christine's grandmother. The story was fast-paced and a good debut for the author. I was interested enough in the characters to read the next in the series.

Thomas, The Mate's Ring is a fantastic paranormal shifter romance. It's wonderfully written, engaging, and steamy; it hooked me from the very start. The main characters, Thomas and Christine, are absolutely fabulous and the perfect match, with chemistry that's off-the-charts.

Excellent narration by Phoenix McKay, she, portraying the characters' personalities and emotions very nicely. This audiobook was a very entertaining listen with a delightful storyline and characters, one I'll highly recommend. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

This was my first Wendy Lanore's book. The Mate's Ring: Thomas, a paranormal shifter romance, is fast-paced and entertaining. Thomas and Christine are great characters. Thomas is handsome, caring, possessive, and protective. Christine is lovely, independent, and strong. They share an instant attraction and a sizzling chemistry. Christine's Grand Ma is a great supporting character. The storyline has suspense, and action. Phoenix McKay did a great job with the narration. I was given a free review copy of the audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

The story was ok, but the book needs extensive editing. The multitude of errors in spelling and grammar made the reading tedious.

Just cause destiny says one thing does not mean its a walk in the park. A shifter life is filled with drama.
