Thank you to the author and publisher for selecting me to arc read this(I’m behind in arcs so finally finished this story!). It is a wonderful story, it’s very long but it was good, but it was also like in different times in my opinion but otherwise I liked it. 4/5 stars. Would recommend!

Really enjoyed this one! Aria and Taion’s dynamic was all fire and tension, and the enemies-to-lovers vibe was totally swoon-worthy. Watching them clash and slowly open up to each other kept me hooked. The world is dark and magical in all the best ways. There is a LOT to take in and wrap your head around. If you love fantasy with romance, drama, and a bit of danger, definitely give it a go.

Read this as an ARC and my 1st look into this author and her world.

The story is beautiful and yet pretty standard fantasy.
Elves - both dark and light
Mages and witches
Nephalims

A darkness takes hold of a king and he wreaks havoc over the kingdom and is vanquished and his long lost son who was whisked away before the battle returns for revenge on the clans that did not come to his peoples aid when needed.
Said son falls in love with a girl he captures and realizes she's his soul bond yet she is married to another....he is also the Night Prince....lots of similarities to ACOMAF - even the description of Tenebris, reminded me of Valeris, instead of bat boys its Nephalims.

I feel like I probably would have a better grasp on what was going on is this wasn't the 6th book of the series and I had read the others first. Saying that though it was still an ok book that I enjoyed.

There was a WHOLE lot going on in this book, and admittedly it was hard to follow at times. I felt like the author tried to pack too much into this story. The chapters were broke down into which clan the chapter was taking part in but the chapters included too much dialogue and switching from character to character with no directions. One sentence is one character talking or thinking something and the next sentence switches to a different character. I had to do alot of rereading paragraphs to keep up with what was going on.
I feel like Puck could have had his own book and Orin had his own and then they all come together in this book for the end. Their stories all intertwined together with Taion's was just too much.

Wow, if you want to be immersed into a whole other world then this is the book for you ! The emotions and undying love of the Characters is on a whole other level. Dive into their world, their feelings, and don't forget the Spice cause it's in there too. This is definitely a must read for all so read fantasy.

The book had a lot of information about the different characters and their families. Characters building was amazing. The story line was amazing too. I could practically picture the whole realm. Happy endings are great, and this book did not disappoint. I would definitely recommend this book.
