After one of the ship’s passengers goes missing, the ship’s children are drafted to fight against the approaching enemy. The odds are made Arqa is hopelessly outmatched. As circumstances draw closer and closer to catastrophe, each resident of Arqa prepares for the end of their journey. While some are relieved, others lash out--desperate to find a way to survive. Judgment is can Arqa’s true purpose be realized in time? Never Going Back is the first book in a new cutting-edge science fiction The Felled.

The felled is the first book in its series. The science fiction story begins 12 years after humans have left Earth. With all residing on a ship called Arqa, their primary mission is to create AI in order to bring about an event hailed as the Technological Singularity. With an all-young casting crew, the story then takes a battle of survival when hostile alien forces reappear, implementing a great read and adventure.

The author has created an interesting story. The literature was filled with sci-fi material and exciting scenes. I was pleasantly surprised to see the dialogue between characters matching their ages. I have to admit, I was not the biggest fan of the book cover but still enjoyed reading the story.

One of the most important aspects of books in such genres is their terminology and use of actual science. The author managed to successfully apprehend this matter.

I recommend this book to anyone interested in sci-fi material.
