BLIND SPIRIT is Book 4 in the 5-Book Scourge Survivor Series As the war against the Scourge gains momentum, Lia struggles to cope with Abaddon and his plans for her. Faced with the horrifying truths of her capture the summer before, she re-evaluates everything she knows about herself, the people around her, and her future. Lost and disenchanted, she finds strength in her friendship with the Celt wizard, Samuel, her brother's nemesis and the male destined to guide her toward her destiny.
I like the first three books of this series, in spite of the need of editing (far too many misplaced commas). The main character of this one is simply too whiny. I understand the need for a character to have to grow, and to overcome obstacles for the story to progress. Lia just whines her way through to the very end.
Jenny Madore has done a wonderful job of making a strong woman out of an insecure girl with her heroine in this fabulous tale. A great continuing saga for the Scourge series... one that leaves you waiting impatiently for the next book in the series 😗
I just read this entire series in the course of three days. I think that this may have been my favorite. JL madore does a fantastic job of weaving her land and stories together and it makes each book more cohesive and better for it. You feel like you know the other characters as much as the current lead. I am ready for the next book and so sad if it’s to be the last. Captivating and suspenseful and romantic.
