I'm aware that this is an unpopular opinion in the chevalier fandom however, this is my favourite book of the series. I found it a brilliant conclusion and I loved that all loose ends were tied up in a very satisfying fashion.
I felt immense pride when Chevalier became a mouseketeer, something the entire series had been building up to.
I have the say that the quote, "Heroes come in all sizes, be they large or quite small. But no matter the size, heroes answer when called. Few hear the calling, even fewer will try. For its the hero, you see-- who will do... or will die."
Hit really hard and summed up chevalier character beautifully. I understand why they used it in the marketing. All in all, I loved it. Thank you for writing this impressive book series, it has forever changed my life.
