The story by Thomas Hardy, the two by Roald Dhal and the one by John Wyndham at the end are standouts to me in this small book of 12 masterful short stories.

12 stories, 10 authors. Mainly good stories and the course work at the end was interesting. Was surprised at some of the words the compliers felt it necessary to explain to GSCE level students.
