About the author

Lysz Flo is a trilingual writer of fiction and poetry. She started writing in diaries since Elementary school, as an only child she adopted pages as safe havens of conversation. The love of writing grew deeper through experienced loss in 2005 and onward.

Lysz Flo is an AfroCaribbean Latine, polyglot, word artist, and indie author, member of The Estuary Collective, Ignyte Awards Winner for CNF, Creatively Exposed podcast host, Voodoonauts Summer 2020 Fellow/Educator in 2024 and Obsidian Black Listening 2022 Fellow. She released her poetry novel Soliloquy of an Ice Queen, March 2020. She is creative educator since 2020 and had a writing workshop series in MOCA NOMI. Her poems can be found in FIYAH, Hellebore, Lolwe, Strange Horizons and has done various multimedia projects with O’ Miami.
