More cash grab than fan service.
This book is basically movie stills on one side and random text on another. It's barely a tribute and tries too hard to spin common-sense affirmations with references to Captain Marvel e.g. the power of unity, know when to ask for help, share the spotlight blah blah blah. Super basic and nothing people don't already know. I think anyone can do this with any film.
Maybe try harder next time...

Pretty standard for a book like this. Would work well for kid or preteen fans of Captain Marvel (or regular superfans like me I guess haha).
Reminded me of how much I love her story (and all the others tbh) in the MCU and made me want to rewatch the film (:
There were two pieces that really made me remember why I'm so enamored with superhero stories, too, so that was pretty fun.

I LOVE CAROL DANVERS WITH MY ENTIRE BEING
She's so powerful. And human. Flawed and emotional. Strong and confident. She's such an inspiration and I love that this book was written to be a reminder of that
