Peter Bently is married with two children, and lives in south England. He studied languages at Oxford University and has written over 40 titles, one of which led to him being awarded the Roald Dahl Funny Prize 2011.

This is going straight to being one of my top children’s books for 2023!

It was spooktastic, mischievous, hilarious and super fun to read - plenty of rhymes and each character you just can’t help but adopt a voice to match 👻

The illustrations absolutely bring this book to life and I especially love the spooky food in the inside cover of the book - Eyes Cream, Nutskella, Frosted ssSnakes - brilliant!

The perfect read for Halloween time - but for us, it will be an all year round read!

The attention to detail is incredible so take your time to study the illustrations.
