Mission is a broad, brief, biblical statement of what the ministry is supposed to be doing, and asks, “How can we work with God to build a faithful church?” (p68)
Strategies are the selected processes that determine how each church accomplishes its mission. This entails finding the lost, folding them into the body, and building them up in the faith. The disciple-making process involves the three elements of evangelism, assimilation and maturation; or similarly described as conversion, commitment and contribution; or finding, keeping and building.
