The new, second edition of this AJN Book of the Year introduces each step in the nursing research process, and shows how to read, summarize, critique, and use the findings in clinical practice. The authors both published nurse researchers employ a consistent style and a nursing-oriented approach. Highlights from published research studies and critique questions make this subject easy to understand and enjoyable to learn.
Ok so admittedly learning about research and all the intricacies of how to complete valid studies and have them apply to bigger populations is not my forte. I am so confused and uninterested in this class and this book. But alas, I must read it for 3 more weeks to complete the class... sigh!
Addendum... Ok and I finished the class, still know very little about it (although admittedly a bit more) and still do not enjoy or even tolerate this book. Blah!
