"[A] story of a motley crew of soldiers--half Indian, half American--in the days after 9/11 searching for their lost comrades in the rolling hills of the Pakistani-Afghani border region. And lo and behold, what do they come across? Not your ordinary terrorists, but ones infected with a terrible and virulent affliction that possesses not only their bodies, but also their souls..."
Graphic India is on a roll and has released many exciting graphic novels, this one here has two horror stories, one a creature horror and another is soul swapping shenanigans. I liked the illustration in the first story better while the second one wasn't in the same class.
First story focuses on a joint mission in Afghanistan featuring US and Indian armies. They are looking for missing US personnel but when they find them then the actual horror begins, the terrorists have seem to awoken a terrible threat and it would take everything of our heroes to stop this threat.
Second story is a tale of an accident which takes some very strange turns indeed.
All in all worthwhile investment, do give them a chance and enjoy quality illustrations and stories and then just Keep on Reading.
I have always loved comics, and I hope that I will always love them. Even though I grew up reading local Indian comics like Raj Comics or Diamond Comics or even Manoj Comics, now's the time to catch up on the international and classic comics and Graphic novels. I am on my quest to read as many comics as I can. I Love comics to bit, may comics never leave my side. I loved reading this and love reading more, you should also read what you love and then just Keep on Reading.
