I took the risk because I wanted to and fortunately that same year I received an offer from a publisher for a two book contract–after a thirteen year effort, but that’s another story.

A wonderful ending to a UNIQUE series...I've enjoyed each and every book in this series...some more than others...but as a whole it is very ENTERTAINING...I enjoyed the different cast of characters...and the whole concept of the secret Black Stockings Society was fun, sexy and INTRIGUING...I'm actually sad to see the series come to an end...WELL DONE, Ms. Girard!

A slow read.So much sadness. Anna Maria was a lovely character but continued to long as a down on her luck survivor.She somehow never seems really happy with her a successful life as a dancer

Reading Round the Clock by Dara Girard made me start liking romance novels again. Anna Marie has a new lease on life after receiving an inheritance. It is time for Anna Marie to take care of herself instead of everyone else. The first step into her new life is accepting the invitation to the Black Stockings Society. Look out here comes the new Anna Marie.
Desmond Rockwell divorces his wife and tries to move on with his life. After meeting a new client Desmond cannot keep his mind of the woman. Both find that the attraction is not going away and once they start pursuing it there is no turning back.
Past secrets and surprising revelations are discovered in this sizzling romance that will keep readers turning the pages. I enjoyed the main characters chemistry and the unusual twist. I recommend this book to others and I cannot wait to read more from this author.
