I bought this book in 2009, which was early in my knitting experience. I loved the sweaters in this book, but then I wasn't realizing how intense or involved knitting a sweater would be. I still love to look at the sweaters, but I haven't tried any yet. I admire my daughter and others that can knit sweaters and wear them because they look good in them. Maybe one day......

Another library book looked at in search of the missing poncho pattern.
Ann Budd is a talented designer. I have knit several of her patterns from other sources.
There are skirt, sweater, and vest patterns in this book.
Poncho not in this one.

I've checked out this book a few times already, and I keep coming back to the sweater on the cover. I think I need to finally make it. Plus there are a couple others I'd like to make. I might have to buy this one.

[21 Oct:] So I wussed out when it came down to buying yarn. But it's on my to-buy list. Lots of good patterns.

There are some cool patterns in this book. I liked the big cable vest, the empire swing cardigan, the twisted v pullover and the garter lace jacket.

One thing looks interesting, but the people of Ravelry say it's a disaster...
