After reading 9 ‘Until’ books, one thing I can say for certain is I never grow tired of feeling that BOOM. Aurora Rose Reynolds is the queen of insta-love. I’m not always a fan of it, but no one does it better than her. Kim and Sage’s book is one that I’ve been waiting on for the longest time. I’m so happy we finally got it! Sage and Kim both feel that BOOM but something happens after that that keeps them apart for a bit. Sage pushes Kim away and from the moment he finds out the truth, he regrets it.
“In the twenty-four hours we spent together, you gave me a taste of something beautiful, and the memories of those moments have haunted me since I walked away from you.”

Now Sage has to win Kim back. Kim has no interest in letting Sage back in after she was hurt by him. Then the unthinkable happens and Kim goes through something tragic. After losing her sister in a devastating way, Sage is there for her. All Sage wants is a second chance and Kim ends up giving him one, but she’s hiding something important from him…

Sage is your typical Mayson alpha male. ARR writes the best alphas. They are sexy, protective, sweet, and funny. They fall for their women hard.
“We’re not friends, If you haven’t figured that out by now, I’ve still got work to do. It’s my job to take care of you. I didn’t do any of that shit out of kindness. I did it because I look out for mine. And make no mistake about it, baby, you are mine.”

Kim was a lovable heroine. I understood why she kept her secret hidden for a while. It’s a hard thing to deal with and having to tell other people about, I imagine would be difficult. Especially with a newish relationship.

What I really loved about this particular Until book, is there was no huge OTT drama that made me roll my eyes. There was a little, but it fit in well with the story. It was fast paced, engaging, and an all around great read. I loved seeing more from some of my favorite characters and can’t wait to get more Until books! If you’re looking for something sweet, sexy, and full of alpha goodness, pick up Until Sage !
“If I could give you the world, I would.”

“I don’t need the world. All I need is you.”

descriptionLOVE this cover! One, it is SMOKIN' HOT. The model on the cover is a really good representation of Sage. The composition is pretty good and the typography is unique and eye-catching.description

descriptionI feel like I have been waiting FOREVER for this book. If you have read some of the other books, then you know exactly who Kim and Sage are, and you know the clusterfuck that tore them apart. I couldn't wait for this one because I expected mucho chasing and groveling on Sage's part for being such an asshole to Kim. Alas, it pains me to say if that is what you are hoping for you are going to be disappointed. That's not to say the book was BAD. It wasn't. It just wasn't what I was expecting.

So the good. As always I very much enjoy this author's writing. It has that whole alpha male...mine...claiming thing that I love. The pace of this one was good. I wasn't bored or felt that need to skim, but there isn't a whole lot of angst or drama. The couple reconciles pretty much from Chapter One, and for all intent and purposes, it is smooth sailing straight to the end. Oh, there is a bump or two, but it is resolved quickly.

description

Both characters were likable overall. Kim annoyed me a tiny bit with her secret keeping, but after the way Sage treated her I understood. Sage was a great hero. Like I mentioned I would have liked to have seen him groveling and chasing Kim. I would have liked to have seen some POV from him when he thought she had moved on to another man. But what we get is a very "all in" hot alpha male.

As always there were some great cameos from other couples that I enjoyed. The sex scenes were hot, but there wasn't that many of them, to be honest. I expected the book to be more sizzling, but it certainly didn't take anything away from my enjoyment of it. We also get a very sweet epilogue that wraps things all up. So, all in all, I did enjoy this one, but I think for me it would have been that much better had all the chasing, groveling, etc. not happened off the page and before the book started. Still, this one gets two thumbs up from yours truly.description

Based on the perceptions I got from other books that cameoed this pair, I thought I was in for a pretty dramatic new adultish kind of vibe but I was happy with how this story turned out. Sage and Kim have an immediate spark that gets smothered pretty quickly when Sage makes a mistake that sends Kim running. The spark, however, doesn't get extinguished and catches once again when the pair are brought together after some trouble. The plot was entertaining, if a little far fetched.

I liked how these two were with one another. It made for some pretty hot scenes and tender moments.

"Dropping my leg from his arm, he leans forward and wraps his hand around my jaw as his thick length fills me. 'This is us.'"

"Holding his eyes, feeling those words wash over me, I nod then lean in and touch my forehead to his."

There was some solid character development and good pacing. Was it perfect? No, but I really enjoyed it. Flaws and all.

Safety: No others for either including during their separation. No rape or abuse.

"I'm thankful every fucking day for the second chance I was given."
description

The BOOM is back, and Aurora Rose Reynolds does it again with Until Sage. Sage and Kim were brought together and then ripped apart. But what happens when they get a second chance?

description
“In the twenty-four hours we spent together, you gave me a taste of something beautiful, and the memories of those moments have haunted me since I walked away from you."
Kim and Sage met and had an instant connection. When a horrible misunderstanding rips them apart, Kim is devastated, and Sage is angry. When Sage realizes that he was wrong and that Kim is indeed the woman for him, he sets his sights on getting her back.

description
"We're not friends, if you haven't figured that out by now, I've still got work to do. Baby, you are mine."
Kim is confused. She feels a strong connection to Sage and yet, her life is complicated. Knowing that he burned her before only keeps her more guarded against his advances. Anyone who has met a Mayson Man knows that when he meets his match the boom happens and he will move heaven and earth to get her and keep her forever. Sage and Kim are perfectly matched and although they face several obstacles they can overcome together.

description
"I waited too fucking long for my shot, and I'm not going to let her run off and build up walls. Not this time. I'm done fucking around."
Told in dual POV, Until Sage is another Reynolds blend of goodness. Although there were certain elements of the plot that I would have loved to have been further developed, there was enough passion and love to keep me entertained throughout the entire read. Sage was quite complex, and he was more than driven to win back Kim. This second chance romance with the Mayson twist will melt your heart and leave a smile on your face the entire read.

description

Aurora Rose Reynolds always delivers a beautiful romance story, and there is nothing better than experiencing the BOOM! Until Sage is another amazing display of greatness and I could not get enough! Each Until book can be read as a stand alone but why not read them all and enjoy each and every moment of Mayson greatness? You will be so glad that you did! Bravo Ms. Reynolds! Bravo!

IT'S LIVE!

**ARC RECEIVED IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST REVIEW **

Anytime I hear that there is going to be another installment of this amazing series, I can't help the cheesy smile that I get. The Mayson's are one of my favorite family of any series that I have read to date. They are loving, strong and supportive. They stick together and never let anyone struggle alone. I hope they keep having babies so we never have to say goodbye.

I liked Sage and Kim. As you know from previous stories, there is a misunderstanding that causes Sage to push Kim away. Once he realizes his mistake, he goes to her asking for forgiveness but Kim was crushed and wasn't quick to cave. This story has a prologue recapping how they met, what led up to the break up etc. We are told about the apologies, the flowers, the calls etc but Chapter one starts after they've been apart for a while. I loved that Sage was giving her space, yet wasn't giving up. He wasn't pushing her but he was biding his time to be with her again.

Sage was bossy and alpha - you know, like any Mayson man. He knew he messed up when he didn't go with his gut. Kim was his #boom and he let her slip through his fingers. I appreciate his loyalty to her, even when he thought she was dating another man.

Kim had been through the wringer. Not only did she have health problems (stage 3 renal failure) but she had issues with her birth family that plagued her. She was strong though. She knew she was fortunate to have not only her adoptive parents, she had great friends too. She made Sage work for her and didn't fall right back into his arms when he realized the error of his ways. I also appreciated that we didn't have her pushing him away the entire book and they for on with their lives.

-no cheating
-no ow/om drama
-some pushing away from both sides
-great secondary characters
-no violence
-really good epilogue -could have been further out, but I'm glad we had a look ahead

*one of the things I adore about The Until series is that ARR gives us epilogues even though it is a series. I need an epilogue and so often in series we don't get them. We seldom get enough of the couple in the future books and they just fall away. She proves that you can write a series and have epilogues that are into the future without compromising future stories. Well done on that aspect.

2.5 stars, but I clicked 3 because it was safe.

The hero was celibate during separation and I believed in his feelings for the heroine.

His outbursts were NOT ok.
I could somehow understand the 1st one, but when he shouted at her because of her illness, respectively that she didn’t tell him, it was too much.
I would have hurt him physically and never forgave him so easily.

I needed GROVEL. G.R.O.V.E.L. There was almost none. Meh.

Dear girls, when a man apologizes, please DON’T underestimate it.
Please DON’T tell that it was ok and it was your fault.
Let him apologize!
Don’t bear all responsibility and guilt on your shoulders!

"He has the ability to become the sun I so desperately need in order to survive, and I'm afraid if I allow myself to feel all that warmth, when he's gone, I won't be able to live in the shadows."

If you find a good thing, stick with it!  That's my motto when it comes to reading ARR books.  I love her formula - Strong, bossy, beautiful, alpha-males who fall for strong feisty woman who can handle them.  It's pure magic.  After each book, I love and crave even more!
Kim and Sage's story is no different!  OMG! Sage may be the yummiest yet.  His description alone, took my breath away!  LOL

Anywhoo, here's what I loved: The storyline picks up during the events that took place during Until Ashlyn.  It was a nearly seamless transition.  We find out some details we were privy too in the book, so that was a nice way to start the action.
The chemistry between Sage and Kim.  I definitely believe in the Boom and it was great to hear Sage describe his instant attraction and need for Kim.  They attempt to take things slow, but you can't fight the boom!
Alpha male hotness and ARR are synonymous.  She brought it with Sage.  He's over the top hot, bossy, and demanding.  I loved every minute of it.  My only minor complaint was his hot-headedness. That was a bit of a turn off, but was brilliantly handled later in the book.
The emotional aspect of the book.  I won't give details, because you need to read this one for yourself!  But, I laughed and cried so much.  I'm not sure if I'm an emotional wreck this week or if ARR is just a genius, but it felt all the feels with this one.  It was truly a great read.

Overall, you can't go wrong with an emotional, sweet, funny, sexy read and this one delivers on all those things.  I laughed.  I cried.  I fell in love.  I definitely recommend it!

Warning: spoilers abound.

Until Sage struck me as being only somewhat better than its predecessor, Until Ashlyn. But, on the whole, I found the book to be a disappointing mess—a humdrum, mind-numbingly boring read.

I think these newer books, a spin-off of the original Until series, are geared more toward readers who’ve read the books in order of publication. While each book is a standalone, featuring a different couple each time, I think the author assumes too much, by which I mean she seems to be under the misconception that readers are already familiar with the characters. It should be pointed out that, in actuality, each new book contains references to events that take place in a book that precedes it, but so few details are given about the characters’ backstory going forward, as well as other pertinent information that, if one isn't caught up with the previous books, it will undoubtedly lead to confusion. These books just don’t offer much in the way of character development or in-depth storytelling. It’s as if we’re being plunged into the middle of the story, armed with as little information as possible, and expected to understand what’s going on.

Apart from its blatant disregard of professional editing, this book was also poorly written, inconsistent, and suffered from a very thin plot. Which is unfortunate, because it had the potential of developing into the kind of romance I typically enjoy reading.

There was just no life to the writing. Every time the characters felt or heard something, it read as redundant, in a detached sort of way. I need to examine what’s going on through the eyes of the characters as they attempt to convey the emotions they experience. Show me, don’t tell me.

Until Sage opens with our heroine, Kim, attempting to change her flat tire on the side of the road, a feat that is damn near impossible, as she has no clue what she’s doing. Luckily for her, help arrives in the form of Sage, our hero, who is more than equipped to get the job done. And in record time, no less.

The attraction is there, and so, naturally, the two go on to share a night together, a night that changes everything. By the next evening, however, the fairytale has crashed and burned, with Sage giving Kim the brush-off. He never stopped over, as promised, and is refusing her calls and ignoring her texts. A few days later, by happenstance, Kim runs into Sage and confronts him about his behavior, but, much to her confusion, the encounter doesn’t go well. Sage is angry, the reason unbeknownst to Kim, and doesn’t hold back his feelings.

“You live in this town. Gonna say this once and only once. You pull some shit like you did again, next time, you’ll be sitting behind bars.”

Kim has no clue what he’s talking about, though the confusion starts to lift when Sage follows up with this parting shot:

“You were good, babe. So good I would have paid you for it if I knew that’s what you wanted.

[…]

Coming up to me in the bar, playing games, acting like you did, then trying to slip some shit in my drink so you could get my wallet?”

It takes Kim less than a second to connect the dots—a case of mistaken identity is the cause. She opens her mouth to explain that the person he encountered was actually her identical twin sister, Kelly, but Sage scoffs at her words, refusing to even consider the possibility.

“Just stay the fuck away from me, bitch.”

First of all, calling her a bitch was uncalled for; and, second, this is the kind of hero I’m supposed to root for, a guy so hung up on himself that he doesn’t understand the simple courtesy of allowing someone a chance to explain themselves, especially on the heels of a damming accusation?

It would’ve been nice to have witnessed the scene between Kelly and Sage as it happened, as opposed to just being told about it after the fact.

By the time Sage puts his PI skills to good use, enough time has passed that Kim is now over him, or at least pretending to be. She ropes her gay best friend into pretending they’re in a committed relationship to avoid having to deal with Sage, now that he knows she was telling the truth.

Kim’s ruse is blown to smithereens, however, when Sage witnesses Chris, Kim’s so-called boyfriend, kissing another man in public. With the status of her relationship now out in the open, Sage wastes no time in trying to pick up where they left off. Kim isn’t interested, refusing repeated requests for a date, but Sage is persistent and eventually wears her down.

And there is where all the drama surrounding Kelly comes to a head. Not even a full day after Sage and Kim reconcile, two FBI agents inform Kim that Kelly was murdered at the hands of a serial killer, who remains at large. This information coincides with the events that took place toward the end of Until Ashlyn, with Sage, as well as everyone else, believing that Kim was the one to meet a violent end.

And therein lies the problem—or one of many, I should say. I took issue with the time jumps. They were a little jarring, causing a momentary disconnect from the story line, especially when coinciding with an already confusing timeline, of which I had so—many—questions, but I'll get to those in a moment.

When Kim was diagnosed with kidney disease, her adoptive parents finally divulged the truth about her origins. Not because they wanted her to know the truth, but because, if the worst case scenario became a reality, if Kim needed a kidney transplant, well, good thing she had an identical twin sister out there.

While Kim was placed up for adoption at birth and raised by a loving family in Florida, Kelly, the twin in question, was raised in Alabama, where she wound up in the care of her junkie biological mother—and where, apparently, the system never saw fit to step in.

With the knowledge that she had a twin sister out there, Kim moved to small-town Tennessee to be closer to her. Not because she wanted to use her, or at least not entirely, but because she wanted a chance to get to know her.

All right, then. Now that that's out of the way, riddle me this:

Why did Kim choose to settle in Tennessee, of all places?

Is it safe to assume, then, that Kelly was already living in Tennessee before the start of the story?

Kim had been living in town long enough to find a steady job as a hair stylist, a permanent place to live, as well as the time to develop close friendships with most of the Mayson ilk, and even some of the townspeople, and yet, somehow, I’m to believe that not one person knew that Kim had an identical twin sister?

While Kim was at work, interacting with clients every day, Kelly certainly wasn’t hiding out in the apartment. What, did Kelly and Kim take turns venturing outside their shared one-bedroom apartment?

How long had Kelly been staying with Kim?

Everyone knew Kim the hair stylist, and yet, not a single townsperson, or any of her so-called close friends, thought it odd that sweet, responsible Kim, who didn’t even drink, was suddenly out partying every night, indulging in drugs, and hooking up with random, sketchy men? Bear in mind that all of this was going down in a small town.

Not even Sage—who was supposed to be a top-notch PI, bounty hunter, and private security extraordinaire—took the time to examine the discrepancies, to wonder why Kim, the sweet woman he connected with the night before, was suddenly propositioning him for sex at a bar and trying to drug him.

Not a single friend or townsperson inadvertently mistook Kelly for Kim when Kelly was out doing any number of nefarious deeds?

None of the sketchy individuals Kelly was hanging out with confused Kim for Kelly while Kim was out and about?

No one bothered to pull “Kim” aside and say, “This reckless behavior is so unlike you. What’s going on?”

As the story progresses, more drama ensues, with Kim having to deal with the theatrics brought on by her biological mom, Ginny. And, of course, the drama doesn’t stop there.

After Sage learns that Kim is battling kidney disease, something she’d been keeping from him, he throws a tantrum, makes it all about him, and then runs away without giving Kim a chance to explain herself. He doesn’t get a pass simply because he’s sorry he overreacted—again. Did he not learn his lesson the first time he flew off the handle—you know, the time that resulted in several wasted months of them not being together? Then again, why should he? Kim demonstrated, on more than one occasion, that she had no backbone to speak of. She let Sage run roughshod over her life, accepted his shitty behavior as par for the course, and even, at times, shouldered all of the blame. As if Sage could do no wrong, when, in fact, he called her a bitch to her face, alluded to the fact that she was a whore, threw her medication against the wall, leaving her to clean up the mess, and abandoned her not once, but twice. This man didn’t grovel nearly enough for Kim to have forgiven him so easily, time and again.

Also, for Kim’s illness to be the catalyst of so much drama, her actual health seemed to be a nonissue, or more of an afterthought. It didn’t appear to be well-thought out.

And, finally, let me take a moment to say that I’m over the whole token gay character being reduced to nothing more than an annoying comic sidekick—the new must-have accessory for straight women everywhere. Stop it.

All in all, I thought Until Sage was an uninspiring, poorly executed romance with one-dimensional characters and poor storytelling. I found the writing to be pedestrian, threadbare, and a bit disjointed for a seasoned author. Granted, I wasn't expecting a masterpiece, but still, this could've been so much better than what it was.

Look at me, baby.” The edge in his tone has my eyes going to his. “Tell me that you feel this.”

I'd like to preface this review by saying my expectations totally got the best of me when it came to this book. I tried my hardest to stay objective, but alas, when you spend years waiting for a particular character, expectations happen. That's not to say I didn't enjoy this book, because I really did. I read it in one sitting after all.

The setup for this couple has been happening through several books and I was practically foaming at the mouth to get my hands on their story. I love me some grovel and after the epic f-up that Sage made, I knew one had to be in the works.
It was you. You ruined me for anyone else. You didn’t even know you were doing it, but did it all the same.”

Sage and Kim shared one night together that changed everything. Kim thought it was the beginning of something great, until Sage not only broke her heart but shattered it.

Sage fell hard and fast for Kim, but a run in with her long lost twin and a case of mistaken identity burns it all to the ground. But now Sage knows the truth and he'll stop at nothing to get his woman back, even if she shows every sign of being over him now.
I want her. No… want is too tame a word. I fucking need her.

Sage was everything I knew he'd be. Aurora has a knack for writing devoted, sexy, and possessive alphas and Sage was no exception. I adored the way he was with Kim and their chemistry was practically crackling with electricity.

So why only 3.5 stars? Well, a few reasons. The biggest one being that I felt a lot of the meat of the story happened off the pages. Having been getting bits and pieces of this couple through the past few books, I wanted to really dive into their history. I wanted to see them meet (which we got), I wanted to see the deterioration of their relationship (which we were told about), and then I wanted Sage's epic grovel to make things right (which was just alright). We barely get a glimpse into all that until all is well and they're back together. There were a few things thrown in for conflict sake, but it just didn't do the trick for me. I found it to be kind of all over the place and somewhat random. The major conflict at the end and Sage's reaction to it was lackluster at best. After everything that they've been through, it just didn't make sense for him to react the way that he did.

I wished it was fleshed out a bit more with their actual relationship and character development. The timeline was a bit flip floppy and I did hope for an epic grovel which I didn't get. However these are all my expectations getting the best of me. Did I still enjoy the story? Absolutely. Sage was swoony and had that signature Aurora sizzle to him. While it wasn't my favorite book in the series, I'm still invested enough to anticipate the next ones and gladly read them.

It had been ages since I read an Aurora Rose Reynolds novel. I still check her new books and I do own some of them, because I loved the books I’ve read. I read this book because I was in the mood for the famous Mayson boom. Until Sage had everything I expect in a novel by this author. It was fast paced, sexy, sweet and a little emotional. This book also has a beautiful epilogue. I adore the author’s epilogues.

Sage has been adopted, so he didn’t think he would experience the Mayson boom, but he does when he meets Kim. Kim and Sage immediately connect. They spend the whole day and night together. Sage promised her more of those days, but Kim doesn’t hear from him the next few days. When she finally sees him again, they have an argument.

Later on, Sage discovers that he made a mistake and he wants to make it right again with Kim, but Kim doesn’t make it easy for him. Sage eventually does get another chance. Their relationship won’t always be easy, but the both of them want to fight for it.

I really liked Sage and Kim. Sage is strong, protective, possessive, caring, hardworking and sweet. He liked Kim from the start. He regret not believing her and he missed her while they were apart. He knew Kim was the one. Sage would do anything for her and he’s always there for her. Sage also loves his family and he’s very close to them. It was amazing to see some other Maysons again.

Kim is sweet, kind and loving. She loves her job and she’s amazing at it. She’s also close to her colleagues. Kim was hurt when Sage was different after their first day together, but she couldn’t forget him. She was hesitant to give him another chance, because she doesn’t want to get hurt again. In the end, her feelings for Sage are stronger than her fear. Kim loves Sage unconditionally. I loved Kim and Sage together.

Until Sage is the second book in the Until Him series, but it is book number so many in the Until Her/Him series. I wished I knew this, because there are spoilers about some previous books in this whole series. I also missed Kim becoming friends with the Mayson family. Kim seemed to know everybody and she was very close to some. It was maybe a little odd she didn’t know Sage when they met.

I can’t get enough of Aurora Rose Reynolds’s heartwarming stories. They are always sweet, sexy, emotional and steamy and her characters satisfy on every levels. I would probably say the same of every book written by this author, each and everyone of her stories are just simply amazing. And she writes heroes that are incredible in every way that counts.

Sage and Kim’s story was beautiful and one of my favorite types of reads, a simple romance where you have two strong characters who don't make you want to rip your hair out. There were some complications that come into their lives and it was just the perfect mix of angst to work you up a bit and get you a little nervous for the two of them. There was also a scorching hot and igniting chemistry between these two with plenty of hot scenes and some touching moments as well.

My favorite tender moment was the exchange between Sage and Kim’s father. Emotional and beautifully done.

"Holding his eyes, feeling those words wash over me, I nod then lean in and touch my forehead to his."

I have devoured the Until series and loved it with a passion, and I’m now enjoying like crazy the spin-off series Until Her and Until Him. LOVE the Mayson family and the full cast of supporting characters. Looking forward to Harmony’s story next.

This was a nice read that went by way too quickly in my opinion! We learn from previous books that Sage and Kim have brief relationship and fall apart due to a misunderstanding. The previous foreshadowing starts this book off and Sage must ask for forgiveness and get his girl back.

Unfortunately we don't see much grovelling on Sage's part and Kim forgives quite quickly. After they kiss and make up we follow their relationship as they deal with starting over what they had and coping with family drama. Sage disappointed me a bit because he didn't have that OTT alpha-ness I've come to expect from ARR. I looked back on my Kindle to see I didn't highlight a single quote! I always usually capture some line that the H says that blows me away ... but none in this story.

Overall this was a nice read but I really wanted to love this more. After sitting on it for a while I was a bit underwhelmed and I just felt there were so many gaps in the story. However, we do get glimpses of our favorite Mayson clan which is a bonus!

P.S. I can't wait for Harlen & Harmony!

I loved Sage! This is one of my more favorite books in the series. Sage had a pretty calm and quiet personality. It seemed that the only thing that riled him up was Kim, but in a good way. He pretty much made this book for me. I liked Kim but she was way too stubborn and pushed back on things that seemed silly. Despite that, I liked these two together and enjoyed reading their about them.

I really love both Kim and Sage. They both made mistakes throughout but I understood where each of them were coming from. Let me just say, this cover is so freaking delicious and this is exactly how I pictured Sage. It if course was awesome to catch up with the Mayson clan. It always feels like being with old friends reading one of ARR's books. Looking forward to Harmony and Harlan. I may need to do a reread of the book that started their journey. Until June, maybe?

“We’re not friends, If you haven’t figured that out by now, I’ve still got work to do. It’s my job to take care of you. I didn’t do any of that shit out of kindness. I did it because I look out for mine. And make no mistake about it, baby, you are mine.”

Squee! Another BOOM from the queen of Booms!!! Until Sage is another stellar addition to the series that made me so addicted with insta-love and hot alpha men. Holee bee-jey-zuz!! I so enjoyed reading this book. Been waiting for this for what seems like forever and when I started reading it, I fell in love immediately with Sage and Kimberly. They are just the perfect couple and their journey is one I really loved reading. The insta-love is always there. Gawd! It's the BOOM, and this right here is the reason why after so many years, plenty of releases from this author and I still keep on looking forward to her new book. That and the alpha sexiness of the hero. Undeniably, I have been looking forward to read her works because of that. She's one of those author's who writes the best alpha. Bossy yet sweet and protective and they fall for a woman, you'll be a goner. They'll go all in and they fall HARD that when you just think about it, you'll be just left dreaming and sighing, because let's face it, you want that man too.

That's Sage to Kim and I cannot blame him. Kim is a heroine that is easy to adore and love. Her issues are one you can easily connect and Sage is just really the perfect person for her. Their pasts that molds them and made them who they made their relationship stronger. If you have been following with ARR's works, you will have an inkling as to who are they and their connection. The blurb will give you an idea about them too. Honestly, there's so much to say about this book but then I will just end up spoiling you. So instead of giving you the details, I will leave it up to you to to read the book. Put in mind that this is ARR. Of course, there's nothing you can't expect aside from her alpha men, the insta-love and of course the pushing and pulling part. There's no OTT drama. There might be issues that occurred relevant to the hero and heroine's journey, but that was it. Sage and Kim's journey is a light hearted one. Focused on BOOM and the rough patches along the way to their journey of HEA. There's a a lot of sexy scenes but not that much into the scorching and sizzling level but hot nonetheless. Swoony and sweet moments too that will made you smile so wide and of course the craziness and love from the Mayson family. Oh, boy how I miss those characters I've grown to love! I am just glad they made an appearance in Sage and Kim's book.
“It was you. You ruined me for anyone else. You didn’t even know you were doing it, but did it all the same.”

Overall, I will recommend this book. If you love to read stories with no angst and OTT drama but with insta-love and hot alpha men, this book is for you. If you have been a reader of ARR, you will love this book even more. This story will answer your questions about Sage and Kim. And that Epilogue... awwe it's heart warming. Plus, there's a little tease of what's to come next!

Another STELLAR ROMANCE from the ALPHA QUEEN herself! Another BEAUTIFUL BOOM for the books! Another sexy and swoon-worthy romance that you DO NOT want to miss!

"So fucking beautiful. So fucking perfect. All fucking mine."

Can we just all take a moment to recognize how easy it is to fall instantly in love with Ms. Reynolds' alpha-heroes? I mean yes, they are stubborn and moody as hell. And yes, they are possessive, protective, and overwhelming. But HOLY HELL they are just EVERYTHING! No matter if you are a longtime fan of this series and the series before, or you are brand-spankin' new to this woman's work, you will FALL HARD for her characters. Sage and Kimberly are no different. These two together ignite the pages and you will just know that there is no turning back once you begin!

"I waited too fucking long for my shot, and I'm not going to let her run off and build up walls. Not this time. I'm done fucking around."

If a man felt at least half of what Sage felt for Kimberly, for me, I would be one lucky woman. It's overwhelming. It's beautiful. It's so special. A second chance is all Sage Mayson needs and he isn't taking no for an answer. He is done watching the woman he CRAVES from afar. It's time to take what is his, consequences be damned. Maysons don't ASK for second-chances after all...they DEMAND it, and Kimberly is all but willing to put her heart in Sage's hands once again.

"I know I want a life with you. I know now, just like I knew the moment I met you, that you were made for me."

Another sexy and intense page-turner from the amazing Aurora Rose Reynolds. I hope I never have to say goodbye to these incredible characters. They've become like a family to me and it's always hard to let go of that world once the final page has turned. Another absolute MUST READ from the incredibly talented Ms. Reynolds.

I love this author and I have read all the books in this series and the other series. That's a lot books and I can honestly say, that I am still not bored with them. All these books have possessive alpha men and a heavy case of insta-love, which I don't even mind.

That said, this wasn't my favorite of the series. I enjoyed it.... I just didn't love it as much as I did all the others.

tumblr_mi1kgihynM1s5xsd0o1_500.gif (500×316)

In the previous book it was made clear that Sage messed up his chance to be with Kim.

tumblr_inline_n8z0f2G7VV1qztn1k.gif (350×197)

In this book we find out what exactly happend between the two of them, and how they move forward from there.

For some reason I expected a bit more on what was going on between them and how things went wrong. Sage messing up, felt a bit brushed over and they were back together in a flash.

Black And White GIF - Find & Share on GIPHY

After reuniting, not much else happens to be honest. I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop or for things to take a different turn, but they never did.

Sure Kim is struggeling with some personal stuff and when Sage finally finds out towards the end, they have some falling out....but even that was fixed within a few pages. It also didn't make a whole lot of sense to me. Not her keeping her secret and not how he reacted when he found out.

jKL1MHc.gif (480×206)

For me, there just wasn't enough meat to the story. I liked it, but I expected so much more from these two...especially since we have known them for some time. It was good....but I expected the best. My bad I guess.

I do hope that the next book (yes I will definitely read the next books) will wow me a bit more.

This book is a confusing one for me because I really enjoyed reading about Sage and Kim but I did have some issues with the overall story, so choosing a rating was hard.

Sage and Kim are a couple I've been waiting for for what seems like forever but I was trying really hard to not get myself overly excited for their story. I didn't want to get myself too excited to where nothing could meet my expectations since that would just be a disappointment. Somehow I was able to go into this really calm and I actually ended up loving their relationship.

Yes I was hoping for a lot of groveling on Sage's part and was a little sad that we didn't get that. But I still really loved how he was with Kim and it was like reading a classic ARR Hero. His pure Alpha-ness was just swoon worthy and had me begging for more of him by the end.

Why I had a hard time rating this book though was because I also had some issues with the writing that kind of took away from how much I was loving Sage and Kim together. After waiting so long for them to finally get together I wish we would have seen more of what happened in the beginning of their relationship. There were a few off-the-pages scenes that I just really wish we could have seen. A big one was that we never actually got to see what happened with Kim's twin when Sage thought she was Kim. Since that was their big blow up I just felt like it was something that should have been shown.

Also Kim's health issues kind of bothered me. We were told over and over again that she had problems with her kidney's, which we knew from a past book, yet it wasn't exactly explained. What exactly was her health issue? It just seemed odd to me that it was never really revealed.

Bottom line, despite my problems with a few things in the story I really did enjoy reading this one. It's definitely a recommend from me, but be aware that this really shouldn't be read as a standalone.

It was a ok read.
I was a little disappointed with the development of the plot and I feel like I missed something, but I can't point out what.
I wanted more details of mistaken identity with her sister and about the fight of them and also about the disease of our heroine.
He had to grovel a bit more.
And also more details about the murder of her twin sister.
The author put some mixed dramas (separated twins, adoption, drugs, alcohol, serious illness, birth mother addicted) to spice up this history but it didn't work for me.
The story was boring, I read until the end but nothing touched me.
I hope the next is better because I really like the author.

“Just stay the fuck away from me, bitch.”

“Fuck everyone, and definitely fuck Sage and Kelly.”

“There’s been no one since you.”

DNF

I read Miss Reynolds Until series before. And I remember I DNF the book. I thought I give it another try with Until Sage. But it still does not work for me. I am having difficulty connecting with the characters. I feel the characters, Kim and Sage do not have any connection at all. The sex scenes are cold. The story is all over the place. I think Miss Reynolds want to build a bit suspense/ climax on revealing the major plot. What I get is confusion.

Overall this series does not work for me at all.

Another great Aurora Rose Reynolds read! I truly enjoy her style of writing as it flows so easily without ever bogging down while giving me a romance story that deals with some of live's issues. They always end with a happy ever after despite being a series and I love that!

Kim was a sweet heroine that is struggling with some of her family connections as well as another more personal adversity. After being left high and dry by Sage, she is determined to ignore him and all of his attempts at reconciliation. Sage knew that Kim was his boom almost from the very beginning. When an unfortunate incident leaves him questioning what he thought he knew, he makes an awful decision that I just wanted to smack him for.

This is a rather low angst read with a hero who sometimes doesn’t think, or talk, before taking action and a heroine who is so sweet yet feisty when the need arises. I loved them both.

First let's just get the obvious out of the way, the cover is smoking hot. Like one of my fav ARR covers and that says a lot. His eye, the piercings, the facial hair? Sigh. It's like my own personal kryptonite.

I really loved this one. Sage was a huge alpha which ARR is know for. Kim was sweet and forgiving. There was a lot of emotion in this one that I wasn't expecting and it took me for a nice surprise.

I think my favorite part of these books is catching up with the old crew from the Until series. I love seeing where they are now and how the whole crew is doing.

This was a steamy and sweet read and I enjoyed every second.

"Until Sage" was a nice reading but I hoped for something more....???

...Realizing even though we hardly know each other,
my heart had at some point claimed her as its own.

Once again I'm gonna say that I love ARR and her books so damn much, so I'm expecting more from her whenever something new comes up! I love her OTT possessive alpha males, her BOOMs, the sassy and funny heroines, the hot heroes that are ready to claim their women since the first moment, all that are in my list for an amazing book. But I think her last books on the "Until Her" or "Until Him" series are quick and kind of let's just get over with it....??? Is it just me? Am I overreacting..?? Well that's how I'm feeling so whatever...

Let's get on Sage and Kim's book... It was a good reading with funny and hot moments and of course family dinners which are my favorite because I get to see my most favorite characters from the previous books.

Sage was a typical ARR hero, badass, hot, possessive, persistent... Well he was a Mayson so you get the drift... And I loved his confessions to Kim. It took him a while to open up and share his feeling with her, which is weird because Mayson men don't hold back when it came to their women. And Kim was a good heroine with a few things going wrong in her life but I think she made them even worse with the decisions she made...She was lovely, funny, stubborn, and had Sage work for it. They were really cute together and made a great couple.

"I know I want a life with you. I know now, just like I knew the moment I met you,
that you were made for me."

The book was a quick one for me. Everything happened really fast with just a mention here or there, and not further explanations...I like that it's a quick one and you don't get bored but I would like the transition from one situation to the other to happen smother and mostly not during the serious stuff of the book. Well I rumbled a lot in this review....

Overall a nice and enjoyable reading but nothing WOW.... I liked it but I was hoping for something more just like I did for "Until Ashlyn" which I was waiting like crazy and my hopes and dreams were crushed...well not crushed but you know what I mean!

So fucking beautiful. So fucking perfect. All fucking mine.

P.S. I hope "Until Harmony" won't have this kind of issues or at least not so much...Because I want this one to WOO ME! I deserve it from this series dammit!!!

ARR make it happen please! Don't let me hanging here! ;p

Another BOOM-tastic novel from Aurora Rose Reynolds!

I will never, ever get enough of ARR's books! I know, I know...never say never. But Aurora will always be the exception. I've read every Until book, and they just keep getting better, and better!

Until Sage was beautifully written - a powerful love story with all the feels! The character dynamic between Sage and Kim sparked the pages, and sizzled throughout the entire story. I love how Aurora mixes the emotional elements of lust and intrigue with apprehension and uncertainty. Because that's exactly what the characters endure while navigating their complicated relationship. The lust and desire Sage and Kim feel for one another seems to want to overshadow the difficulties of navigating their new relationship. But the yearning to learn more about each other is what drives the characters to prove that their connection is purely more than physical. And with the misunderstandings and secrets that challenge their relationship from the beginning, it makes Sage and Kim fight even harder for what they really want.

Aurora Rose Reynolds undoubtedly knows how to write riveting and wistful romances! Until Sage features the epic BOOM we love from her stories, but it's the poignant story lines and authentic emotional connections that truly make her books one-of-a-kind.

An exceptional must-read, that is sure to make your heart melt!

Wow.

Consigliato!
