Crack a case with Club in this new middle-grade series about forensic science!
Calling all kid Forensic science isn’t just for grown-ups anymore! Thanks to the popularity of shows like Crime Scene Investigation , forensic science has made its way into the classroom. This new middle-grade series stars a group of students whose forensic science class inspires them to form a “Club ” to investigate crimes and capers at school. As Club collects clues, readers will love trying to put the pieces together to find out what really happened in this series that is part mystery, part detective story, and just plain fun!
In Club Untitled #2 , Ben, Corey, and Hannah will have to use all they’ve learned about forensic science—plus good old-fashioned detective work and a little bit of luck—to solve their next case! Inspired by the CSI franchise, Club is “required reading” for young scientists-in-training, or for anyone who loves a good mystery!
Second book in the Club CSI series and a good read for kids interested in mysteries, science, and detection. This time Ben, Hannah, and Corey want to find out who stole money from their teacher's locked cash box in her locked desk drawer, money earned to fund a class trip to Washington, DC. Gradually sifting through clues, examining fingerprints, finding and tracing bits of evidence found at the scene, digging through past histories, learning who has what new clothes and/or gadgets that could have been bought with the stolen money, the kids figure out what happened.
I very much like how the kids keep working at their mystery. They learn that some of their clues lead to dead ends and it's okay. They come up with new questions and look for new answers and ultimately they come up with the right solution. There's a benefit to plugging away at a problem, something a lot of us should learn. (And it'a fun in this series.)
The book is very interesting and cool. The book is about finding a mystery of the missing money. The students in this book are going to field trip with the money, and there is a teacher. One day the money is missing, and one of the student’s name is Corey. The student Corey wanted to find the missing money to go to the field trip. Later that day Corey met his friends whose names were Ben and Hannah. Corey told them what is going on. Soon Ben, Hannah, and Corey decided that they are going to find the missing money, but first corey named the team who are going to find the missing money. He named it club CSI. The book is pretty good, even I wanted to solve a mystery. I couldn’t stop reading it. I just love it! Soon they found the person who stole the money it was a boy whose name is Greg. Greg took the money to buy a girl named Brittany a quark pad it is a iPad. Corey wanted a quark pad so badly, and they all got quark pads as gift in the end!!!!!😂
Ben, Corey, and Hannah are the main characters in this book. They are all Middle School kids. Corey's class is raising money for a class trip going to Washington DC. Once the money is collected, the teacher locked the money in a cash box and put it in a locked drawer. Later that day, the money goes missing. The team, who call themselves, CSI, follow clues and solve the mystery.I would rate this book 5 stars. It was a really easy, fast paced book to read.
Puolitoista tähteä. Sopivasti vauhtia, riittävän ohut, rikospaikkatutkinnasta ja csi:stä plussat. Tarpeellinen kohderyhmälle, mutta puolivillaista kötöstelyä.
Luokkaretkikassasta on pöllitty satanen ja kaikkia epäillään. Nyt juttu selvitetään sormenjälkiä tieteellisesti tutkimalla. Ihan kelpo vinkkauskamaa tämäkin.
