The Prophet of Amon: The Alien Connection in Ancient Egypt book 2 in the Secret of the Mummy by Bjorn Street.
This is the Second book in the Secret of the Mummy series. This is not just a great story it’s educational and thought provoking.
The story starts off in the present time with the archaeologists that found Hatshepsut tomb in book one and their documented success with the premier of Hatshepsut – Discovered!!
As the discovery is told, the reader is taken back to ancient Egypt circa 1500 B.C and learns more of what is happening in the life of Hatshepsut and her husband Thutmosis the second. Life here still has its complications and the power struggle, slavery, brutality, paranoia, religion, love and sexuality and war especially between good and evil is still very present.
The alien gods are still present in this book and with the added spiritual guidance makes this book quite the mystery. There are questions unanswered and also a hint at another book, so maybe all will be revealed!
Bjorn has a unique writing style and it’s easy to read and be a part of the story. I also like the titbit of facts that happened in the era of Hatshepsut and how alien and natural catastrophes are linked to religion and paranormal influences back then.
It’s still a baffle that the human race still hasn’t learnt after all these years! We are still just as brutal and greedy, we go to war, there is a huge divide between the rich and the poor, people are starving in this present time and the indication that we have lost our way off the spiritual path is evident. Reading this book certainly gives you a reality check to the actual world and people around us.

I loved this book even more than the first! It is historical, romantic, and intense. The author's writing has such graceful detail and flow....every word jumped from the pages and became pictures in my mind! The history of Egypt has been an interest of mine, and continues to peek my curiosity. Think of how long ago, yet they accomplished such incredible things that required great skill and strength of mind and body. So, alien or heavenly help does seem to aid in explaining the worship of Gods, temples, and the building of pyramids....just to name a few unique items of Egyptian history. Who was this Prophet of Amon? Read and decide for yourself! I was honored to read this and the first book for honest reviews. Thank you Bjorn!

I received Bjorn Street's book shortly after it was released, and it was fascinating to read! I love the paranormal and Ancient Egypt, and the book surprised me in a number of places. I won't leave any spoilers, but I will say there are some interesting twists in the story. There is also some surprising historical evidence which backs up the events in the book. Very interesting!

Simply Wow! This author has the ability to describe places, people and events in 3D... everything leaps off the pages. I'm a huge fan of ancient Egypt and loved the way the story bought together sci-fi and the lives of everyday and historic people. You can tell a lot of research went into this. Top read.

I loved this book! I found it to be a real page turner - the PN/sci-fi adventure, the heartfelt romance, the memorable characters, even a bit of comedy! Highly entertaining!
