So why try to explain
For we know
We are forces of nature
Once unleashed our majesty cannot fall
We shall devour all
We have been physically restrained for far too long
Yet our spirits remain unquenchably strong
Doubt if you must
For in fear you trust
Allowing your uniqueness to rust
We’ll not take lessons from thee
As you've chosen not to be free
While we will embark on a spree
Of peaceful conquest, sharing, love and humbly enjoying this world’s beauty
We've been tame, patient and confined
However, it is now us, who ourselves our paths define
And we shall never again bow
For we are dragons.
