Meet Anna Perera, author of Guantanamo Boy

The book tells the story of a young boy who is kidnapped from his home, questioned, and eventually tortured at America's notorious military prison on Guantanamo Bay. Perera wrote it to raise awareness and initiate conversation about torture among young people. "We need to debate it," she says, "otherwise it will be accepted."
