I didn't really understand the story as he explained it. But who cares? (Imagine if they'd stuck him in a similarly depressing backdrop, pointed the camera, then said: Quick now, give us a one minute plot summary of Cloud Atlas. Or worse yet, Ghostwritten. Lol.)
Brilliant writer. Can't wait to read the book!
I was lucky enough to be at Cheltenham Literary Festival in October and saw David Mitchell - a very engaging speaker full of warmth and humour. I'm looking forward to the book.
