Tambo Bones's Georgia Blues is the controversial song that features in Roll 'Em Mister Bones. Recorded circa 1941 in New Orleans. Only five original copies of this obscure recording are known to have been discovered. The song was featured on the LP LOUISIANA FOLK SONGS (1964). The song has subsequently become something of a legend in some quarters and this version is believed to be taken from the best available copy of the 78.
