I was so hoping for this book to end on a higher, more enlightened note after 300 pages of reading. As a follower of Jesus Christ, I believe wholeheartedly in the Bible to be the living word of God. The way to salvation is through Jesus Christ. Throughout this book, the 3 characters are lost in their own faiths, not fulling believing or understanding them all the way to the end. None of the 3 ever have any hope of what happens at the end of their lives on earth. How terribly sad that is! Also, the part about them coming together to write a Christian children's book fizzles out and you never know if they ever wrote the book! For any nondenominational Christian that truly believes in the bible to be the truth, this book will be terribly disappointing to you. You hope for a new character to be introduced at some point that would lead the 3 of them to Jesus, so that they have peace knowing where their spirits will go in the end -to an everlasting life in heaven with God; a God they all know to be true, but they just don't know that the path to get there is through Jesus Christ that died and shed his blood for all of our sins so that we may have everlasting life in heaven. Accept Jesus as your Savior and you will truly find that profound peace that all 3 characters never found in this book. That is my prayer for all of you.
