Short stories are cool.
I read short stories! Robert Aickman, Angela Carter, HP Lovecraft...Night Shift. So many great short stories out there to read.
For now I'm reading the Shining, and loving it/loosing a bit of sleep over the creepy lady lolling in the tub in 217
I agree with MR King - we all need to read more short stories. Until recently the short story was a staple of literature but it seems to have died in the last 20 years or so.
Why is this video tagged "The Shining," so it shows up on the book page for
The Shining
and is listed as "video about this book? The video is fine, but it includes absolutely nothing about the book in question.
The King of short stories to me is Bradbury. Damn his stories are great. I also love Roald Dahl, King, Bukowski, Richard Matheson, Lansdale.
