Ramya: A Famous Young Indonesian Author

Ramya Hayasrestha Sukardi is just ten-years-old she’s already written four books made up of hundreds of little stories.

Her first book, Ramya’s Adventure, was made when she began to read and write when she was six-years-old.

“At that time, I’ve got so many papers from my cousin. I think what to do with these papers, so I decide to use it to write a story.”

Ramya’s books have circulated widely among children. Some have sold more than 30,000 copies.

Ramya’s family never expected her to be a best-selling author at such a young age.
