A Conversation with Bernard Cornwell

So far I think I have read everything Bernard has written. What a wonderful mind this gentleman has. He can entertain and at the same time educate. I hope he long continues to write.

The beauty of historical fiction is how accessible actual history becomes. Historical fiction frames past events in a way that adds a layer of experience as the reader becomes engaged with the characters and is vicariously present. I am particularly drawn to C.S. Forester and loved this interview with Cornwell. Very kind of him to share his thoughts.Marsha Hansen
