James Lee Burke discusses his new novel, Jesus Out to Sea

Thank you for the video. My heart went out to the citizens of New Orleans . The lack of support by the federal and state government was appalling. Last week one of my friends went to N.O. for the Rotary International conference and was in discussion with several citizens . The Insurance company's are behaving atrociously added to which the Levies were in a bad state of repair. How much has been done?I don't know but by all accounts not a lot.
But putting that aside thank you for lighting up my reading experience's

James Lee Burke is one of my favorite authors. I've read most of the Dave Robicheaux books. Right now I'm reading "In the Moon of Red Ponies" which is my first Billie Bob Holland story. I'm loving it so far and wish I had started with the first one.

It's so wonderful to be able to actually see and hear Mr. Burke talk. It's hard to really get a feel for people from just a photograph. Thanks for making this video available to us!
