I loved this book. It has everything. I could not stop reading it. This novelist has a talent as wide as the oceans. I was transfixed as this unravelled. A must read.
A compelling story that couldn't be put down. Just as I expected it to end came another earth shattering chapter that brought fresh tears of sorrow or joy. What a marvelous debut. I Hope to read more from this brilliant author.
I've read it twice,so pleased they are making a movie of it ,might even mean a holiday toStanley. Tasmania.

Oh my, I don't think I've read such a powerful book in such a long, long time! Powerful in imagination of the spectacular scenery, the emotions brought up....tears...joy....frustration....and above all, Love. It's just after mid-day writing this and I'm not dressed yet, I just had to finish it! Thank you M.L. Stedman for this very heart-felt book.....I couldn't put it down!
Why did I wait so long? Just thinking about reading it. (:
