Kimberlyharris THIS IS FOR TRUE BLACK WOMEN

Susan Poling WOW! Actually the author defines more than "blackness and slaves" within this poem. Maybe she doesn't mean to but THIS IS FOR EVERY PERSON(!) who has ever lived through hardships and been able to continue living again and again.

Martey-Temple can we truly have another Maya? she was simply real, authentic and reasonably defiant even after death!
