Griselda Dear Yann Martel, during the making of Life of Pi as a moive did you help change any scenes or were collbroated about the changes? If so, did the changes help the moive to stay true to your vision of your written work in the Life of Pi?

Ashani Irunika Hettige I watched this movie. It was really great. And its inspiring.... By the way I haven't read the book yet. But I was so sad that Richard was begging Pi and asking to "please save me"when he was out in the water and, left Pi without looking back.
It was really a great movie and the it deserved the Oscars really well.

Gwdash I'm not sure yet if I'm glad I decided to read the book before seeing the movie (haven't gotten around to that just yet). Just watching the preview I see major plot points that alter a lot of the story. I will have to enjoy each as its own story.
