An interesting author and man..may he rest in peace..his stories will live on for all time.
Love this man's stories and the way and manner in which he wrote them. Wish I could have met and had many conversations with him ( with myself doing most of the listening !) Thank you Mr. Mowat.

Same here, John! Would have loved to share a drink with him, and listen to his observations on life.
He was a story teller and very valuable as such, and his chest was full of medals, that speaks for itself...rip.
I met him once briefly in Winnipeg, he used to stay a now closed Inn called Canada House on Assiniboine Ave. RIP>
