Ender's Game fan trailer
Author: Orson Scott Card
I did not like the trailor.
I haven't read the book yet, and if I was counting on this trailer to get me interested it failed to do so. I still plan on reading the book, but was baffled by the trailer. It just didn't give me anything to go on as far as what the book is about.
This is my favorite Ender promo! That kid is sooo cute! I can understand why people who haven't read the book wouldn't get it, but considering it's probably just some mom or dad playing around with their kids, I think it's pretty cool. Then again, I'm just a total Ender fun, but... =)

Its not the actual trailer for the movie but its not a bad representation. read the book, this movie doesnt actually tell u much about the story and the book is great.
If you want to experience Ender's Game, I would like to suggest the audio book. Orson Scott Card's work is perfect for this type of format.
The trailer felt like it was missing something, and the child actor seemed too young. I really think that the movie would work better in 3D animation.
If this is really going to be made into a movie...it has to to be done in CG to really get the effects right (ie reorientation in zero G during battle practice). I can't imagine the film being able to pull it off any other way...
I've seen a few trailers for this book on YouTube, and this is my favorite. Perhaps I love it because I read the book first, and I understand where its coming from. This is one of my all time favorite books.
I saw a comment that the actor seemed too young. It's been a while so maybe I'm off here, but I thought Ender was only seven.
I notice that a lot of people said they hadn't read the book and that they didn't like/didn't understand the movie. Well, I haven't read the book and I liked the movie. Maybe it's just older people who don't like it because I'm eleven.
I clicked that I liked this by mistake. I was looking for a "didn't like it" button. Honestly, this trailer was really bad.

I know lots of people who hate when a trailer gives away the movie (and most do). But I agree that this particular (fan-made, I remind) vid is probably hard for people unfamiliar with the story to appreciate.
I have enjoyed and read the book several times. I think that trailer is a good effort at a simple underlying theme of the book, and the very inexpensive CG reminded me of BBC stuff. I think animation or anime would also stand a good chance of telling the story well, has that been attempted yet? Nonetheless I am eager to see what happens with this live action movie.

Amen to that! I hate what they did to Eragon and The Last Airbender, so I desperately hope that they make a decent movie.
