I can't wait to read the book. I agree with his viewpoint about John Wilkes Booth not being a hero, but a racist and coward who hid behind his own selfish cause. I'm not saying Abraham Lincoln was a perfect man or some demigod, but he was a man with heart and acknowledged his humaness, and lived each day doing his best for his country and all citizens. I definitely have added this book to my "to-read" list.

Based on rare archival material, obscure trial manuscripts, and interviews with relatives of the conspirators and the manhunters, CHASING LINCOLN'S KILLER is a fast-paced thriller about the pursuit and capture of John Wilkes Booth: a wild twelve-day chase through the streets of Washington, D.C., across the swamps of Maryland, and into the forests of Virginia.
