This is my first encounter with a reading by Jim Dale. What a magnificent voice! Thanks to Kimberly for letting me know what other books Mr. Dale has on audio. So many readers just do NO JUSTICE to the text; from this snippet alone, I can tell that Mr. Dale DOES.
I have always frowned upon audio books but WOW after hearing that man's voice I would definitely purchase an audio book NOW get Morgan Freeman to do some and I'll purchase more!

Hi Vicki! Glad I could help. I suggest browsing Audible.com. I'm sure I left some books off the list!
Another wonderful reader is Rosalyn Landor, fyi.
I'm listening to the audio book right now and really enjoying it.
I just finished the audio book today and it was wonderful. Jim Dale is a marvelous narrator and he is the one who got me started on audio with Harry Potter. It is was slow starting but it built into a powerful story I couldn't wait to finish.
Jim Dale is nothing short of AMAZING. I'll listen to a story *just* because he narrates it. Fortunately, he's got magnificent taste in books and his voice truly highlights any story. :)
I love Jim Dale's performance of this book! I don't think I'd care to much for it reading it but he really adds an extra layer of richness and I love it. But then I'd love my grocery list if he were reading it!
I am listening to this book now and his narration is a delight! I so love Pushing Daisies and was sure it had to be the same person. What fun!
