From Anne Rice: a message to fans: May 2008
Author: Anne Rice
I love the vampire chronicles. I doubt I'll read the life of Jesus series but who knows?
I don't think anything she said makes her a zealot. If she was far off enough to be a zealot then people who don't agree with her would be far enough away from her to be zealots in her view. She doesn't think that of you but you of her. So who is far gone enough to be the zealot here?
a zealot? not quite. Her vampire series and the mayfair witches were dark.. beautiful too, engrossing yes.. but dark. Even her erotica from back then was dark. I am not a christian but am very spiritual and i think its beautiful that she has found her faith again, in whatever it may be. I have read all of Anne Rice's book.. The Jesus ones aren;t my favorite but I still read them. Her new series, The Seraphim series, are beautiful and very vintage Anne Rice.. everyone should evolve...
Praise the Lord for letting Anne Rice live in the light . For those who "OMG", may you also have your eyes and hearts opened as every knee shall bow one day.

that's from 2008 she has publicly broken from the church since then.
I don't read vampire books and haven't read any books of hers for that matter. Anyway she looks a very beautiful chick for her age. I like her physically.
I loved the Vampire Chron. and the new books about Jesus are also spectacular. I am mature enough to know that you are writing fiction and I hope you feel that your past works about vampires does not define your relationship with God today. You are a beautiful human. Thank you for using your imagination to help paint a portrait of the man Jesus and how a young Jew would have grown up in the 1st Century and the expectations of the Jews.
