It makes the headlines when stars finally come out. Not the night stars, the stars who couldn't, wouldn't speak out when they were assaulted, because for many of them, they had to choose between their career or their Truth. Too often we must choose between safety, security, our jobs, careers or community standing or our Truth. I chose truth and my church penalized me, over and over. It is unacceptable. The change begins. Let us teach our sons and daughters. Let us be a safe haven.…more
