I have some ideas now about how this plot may develop (some possible foreshadowing on page 77), but I know better than to assume anything predictable when it comes to Penny Reid's writing. I'm looking forward to having my expectation flipped on its head.

Sometimes, when reading Penny Reid, I just have to stop and linger in the message... the poignant and beautiful rendering of a simple but meaningful gesture and its subsequent universally understood feeling. Bravo!!
