i might actually hate this book omfg
not only is it full of racism, the "great love affair" is between a 18 and 40 year old, they rush into it because of lust and interest, without ever actually communicating, leading to her finding out on their wedding day that he is married and basically described his ex wife as "a crazy black woman with a family full of idiota" and that's why doesn't count as marriage??? bro tf
