For all she's my namesake, I HAAAATE Alina and that story arc. Everything in it is so irrational and melodramatic and bullshit. And it's the wannabe queen bitch that wrecks the entire arc for me.

By blade and by blood, this book as managed to make me DESPISE the entire Valtara arc and all the characters in it SO MUCH. What did you do Mr. Author, after penning the awesomeness that was The Exile????

No, I am sorry. This one is dragging a bit too much and there are two story arcs (at least) that I have lost all patience with (Dayne, Dhalen and the Dwarves. Can we get a move on in those arcs, please!)

Bah, of all the story arcs in the books, I was looking forward to Dayne's the most. But all he and his sister and his peeps are doing thus far is pissing and moaning and feeling sorry for themselves. Fraking DO something other than thump your chests and cry.
