Today I once again found myself reading this in the infant hours of the morning; I woke up around 2 am with unexplained leg pain, and when it finally subsided (after about an hour) I suffered a strange bout of sleep paralysis until I was ripped awake by the sound of hail on the roof (accompanied by sirens), which I briefly believed to be gunfire. Starting to think Leopold’s ghost still haunts these pages.

I woke up at like 2 am last night and couldn’t fall back asleep, so I picked up this book (which has been sitting on my history shelf for 9 months) and started reading it. Suffice to say, the ol’ Sandman would’ve been pleased if I just counted sheep instead.
