Think Loki (Thor/Avengers1 era) meets winter soldier meets Deadpool with less humor more stubborn grit (and a dash of Ellie and Joel from the last of us) and you’ll have our three main characters

I’m actually scared for what Calla and Anton might do at the end of this book and the rest of the trilogy

They’re either going to ruin each other so hideously or stand atop the flames of the world as it burns beneath them

“Calla. Soon, people will be saying it just as they whisper God”

WOW idk whether to root for or against them yet since this is supposed to be a trilogy, will it end in toxic, violent tragedy or in something more pure 🧐
