Not entirely taken by the Innes/Lexie narrative, though Innes is very well written. The Elina /Tom stuff is interesting enough, too. A slow burner but I’m not in a rush so 🤷♂️

Yeah, I’m gripped. A completely different writing style to the other O’Farrell texts I’ve read but similar to Hamnet in the narrator’s emotional distancing. An unusual structure - rewinding for example - but I’m intrigued!
