What if Hunter S. Thompson wrote film noire? Strange, dark plot with bizarre, surreal, and unlikely plot twists. Overall, a crazed police procedural to solve what turns out to be massed serial killings. The writing style is what counts. It was fun to read.

This ebook contains all four volumes of the trilogy, so we ain't done yet. I would go 3 to 4 stars, only because I got a bit lost in the plot. BUT, ...
