The introduction by Ms. Stern was actually quite interesting, surprisingly enough. I had initially planned to read a bit of it before skipping to the actual stories but I found myself intrigued by Alcott’s life & career. Certainly a whole other set of books are dedicated to those things. She’s impressed me thus far, and I haven’t read a word of the tales yet. It is a miracle they have been found & reprinted.
