I didn't expect to love this this much, but only 52 pages in and I feel the need to underline stuff (yes, writing in a book, who am I) ; writing is wonderful ; characters so realistic I can't believe this isn't a biography

Last chapter was so powerful. Writing's simple yet it's very immersive. The shift in the journal entries about Buzz gave me chills and I really felt my heart drop ; the scene with mother-daughter standing in front of the mirror "look at what God made. Look at what I made" idk how to describe how I feel : not simply saying "yes your are beautiful" is more powerful/deep yet less intimate and soft as expected from a mo
