Part IV done and FINALLY the plot is starting to resolve.

Like…conclusion is in sight but there is STILL 25% left, how long is this book ? 😭😭

Part III done and I’ve gone from finally putting together what’s going on…to understanding very little.

What’s going on ? So much happened in this part and I’m…confused 🥲

WHY IS EVERYONE OBSESSED WITH GIVING BIRTH ?? 💀

Part II done and this part was tragic in many ways, but the plot has progressed a lot too.

Ead is awesome !!
Though, I don’t really like Sabran’s character writing and the way their relationship developed.

I think it’s because I expected something else…something more exciting.

Also, wow..people really speak in riddles in high fantasy. It sounds cool but complicated.

“You are in The Priory of the Orange Tree, *Blank*. In Lasia.”

I just love it when the title of the book is mentioned. Just little things which make me go “OHHH”.

I knew there will be deaths but….🥺.

Also, the moral of the story is always listen to Ead. ALWAYS

I think this was difficult to read at first because I didn’t know what was going and I couldn’t invest in the story. It took me at least 20% into the story to finally be interested. I think it’s easier to read now.

The wedding night…IT WAS SO CREEPY. The way the talked about Sabran and her duty. Urghhh 😰

How did Truyde making the most and the least amount of sense at the same time ??
At one hand, she’s pretty sharp but on the other hand, she’s also pretty delusional ??

Right idea, wrong execution 😓

So many characters, so many titles, so much world building and backstory….

Yet the plot has barely moved forward

2 chapters done and I still have no idea about the plot. I just have some vague understanding of the characters and world building.

But there’s like 750 pages left, so it’s gonna be a while
